We are a progressive, inclusive community of Jesus followers at CrossWalk, striving to live out the way that leads to life that Jesus lived and taught. It’s a way of peace, love, and respect that connects us to God and everyone else. The way Jesus taught is not one that is forced on us under threat of judgement from God, but rather an invitation toward life at its best – for everybody. We offer an alternative orthodoxy that does not require you to sign off on a range of belief statements that simply don’t align with common sense (or history, or science, or experience). Building on this different way of understanding – which is deeply reflected in the life and teaching of Jesus – we have become a robust community known for boldly loving everyone and striving to serve our community as fully as we can. This faith makes a difference in our lives, in our church, and in this community. We’re not just sitting around waiting to go to heaven someday, complaining about how awful things are. Nope. We’re actually engaged in restoring and encouraging all that is beautiful in this world with which we are inseparably united. How can we become more lovely together?
