Double J Ranch is an IRS 501(c)(3) approved non-profit organization set up to take care of horses who would otherwise be put down. Alibi is one such horse who can not be ridden but is still full of life. He is supported by donation We have physical room for more horses but limited financially to just him. Our plan is to take on more horses like him when the organization can financially afford to do so.
The second purpose of the ranch is to promote the well being of horses to the public. We do this by going to schools to discuss facts and myths of the American Quarter Horse and to give kids a chance to get up close and personal with our horses. We also invite individuals to the ranch to do the same.
