The church was started in the late 1950’s by Swedish immigrants that were part of a denomination called the Evangelical Covenant Church (ECC). Fourteen senior pastors and six church names later, we are about 300 on Sundays in downtown Mercer Island. We are multi-generational and increasingly diverse ethnically and in walks of life.
Our great hope is to do church, Christianity, and life, in a way that is true, Jesus-centered, life-giving, and helpful to those around us. We’d love for you to connect with us in some way, maybe on a Sunday, a weekday small group or life group, a social event, or a global/local project. Whatever life stage you’re in, our desire is to be home and homebase for you.
