Family Paths, Inc. is a non-profit organization of mental health professionals and volunteers that has been serving Alameda County children and their families since 1972. We have offices centrally located in Oakland and Hayward and provide additional services in schools, homes and community locations throughout the county.
We began as an organization dedicated to the treatment and prevention of child abuse with our 24-Hour Parent Support Hotline which is currently staffed in English and Spanish and provides free and confidential counseling to anyone in need of parenting support and offers access to over 900 community resources through our extensive database. In 1981, Family Paths began providing traditional counseling services to children and their families. Our programs have expanded with the growing needs of our community, supporting our mission with a variety of family support programs and wraparound services. We are known in the community for trauma counseling and as child abuse treatment, intervention and prevention specialists.
