Caring for Cats: What we do at the Goathouse Refuge
Founded in 2007, the Goathouse Refuge is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, no-kill cat sanctuary in Pittsboro, NC dedicated to providing cage-free care for cats regardless of age, medical issues, or disposition until a permanent loving adoptive home can be found. The cats enjoy a serene 1.5 acre fenced natural setting with their own building so they can come and go as they please, lounging outside in the sunshine or napping with their buddies on the cat beds inside, while either waiting for their forever home, or in some cases living out their lives in the magical setting of the refuge.
We think what we do is worthwhile work. We hope you think so, too.
