Golden State Salmon Association’s (GSSA) mission is to restore California salmon for their economic, recreational, commercial, environmental, cultural and health values.
We work with and are comprised of a coalition that includes commercial and recreational salmon fishermen, related businesses, restaurants, a native tribe, environmentalists, elected officials, families, and communities that rely on salmon. Through policy, restoration and education programs benefiting children, students and adults, we work to:
• Enhance and Restore River and Floodplain Habitats
• Reform and Improve Hydrology (River Flows and Temperatures)
• Increase Salmon Hatchery Success Rates
• Inspire the Next Generation Through Experiential Learning Activities
GSSA is grateful for a diverse membership that includes informed consumers, commercial and sport fishermen and women, conservationists, scientists, business owners, chefs, and restaurant owners. Your donation directly supports the critical work of GSSA and reflects your commitment to restoring and protecting California salmon.
