Launched in 1983 as a nonprofit organization, Life Steps Foundation assists infants and toddlers diagnosed with delays, adults with developmental disabilities, and frail seniors. Our trained staff provides in-home and center-based early intervention for children ages 0-3 to overcome developmental delays and maximize physical and cognitive abilities. In addition, our staff members deliver center-based and in-home life skills training for adults working to overcome challenges related to their disabilities. We also provide in-home services for seniors in need of assistance to remain living in their own homes. Our primary goals are to help children achieve their full potential, empower adults to advocate for themselves and experience greater inclusion in society, and enable frail seniors to remain living independently in their own homes.
