IN 1960, we began with one house in Portland, Maine. Today, Spurwink Services has 37 active homes serving children, and another 18 homes serving its adult program.
Spurwink’s 4 special education schools serve children ranging from 5 to 21 years of age.
Starting with a handful of employees, Spurwink today draws much of its strength from its nearly 1200 employees.
